Description
English: Brampton, Market Place A small market is held here every wednesday, and a farmers' market on the last saturday in the month. A market charter was first granted to the town in 1252 by Henry III. The octagonal building is the Moot Hall, built in 1817, which today houses the Tourist Information Centre.
