Especially Japanese, who celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival Hanami, and amateur photographers visit the Heerstraße and the adjacent avenues, lined by cherry trees. Above all, the vigorously flowering variety Japanese carnation cherries (Prunus serrulata, Kanzan) was planted. Their dense crowns form a pink glowing cherry blossom tunnel for about two weeks. Camera position: Heerstrasse 6; in the middle of the street the statue Jupiter Column.
